James is an emergency physician at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield – the major trauma centre for the UK’s beautiful Peak District. He is Clinical Lecturer at University of Sheffield with a research programme in health outcome measures and frailty, and he is the current Chair of the Geriatric Emergency Medicine section, European Society of Emergency Medicine (EUSEM).
